British Airways Excellence Award 2019
The Duetorrihotels group saw its three five-star hotels receive the British Airways Customer Excellence Award for 2019. The hotels honored with the award, which recognizes the quality of hospitality as perceived by guests, were the Hotel Bernini Palace in Florence, the Grand Hotel Majestic già Baglioni in Bologna, and the Due Torri Hotel in Verona.
An Eastern saying claims that happiness has many “homes”: it is found wherever we have breathed a special atmosphere and where we dream of returning. Three of these homes are located in Florence, Bologna and Verona. This is confirmed by the impartial reviews that enabled the Hotel Bernini Palace, the Grand Hotel Majestic già Baglioni and the Due Torri Hotel respectively to receive the British Airways Customer Excellence Award for 2019. All three properties, belonging to the Duetorrihotels group, a leader in luxury hospitality, earned this prestigious award presented by British Airways Holidays, one of the United Kingdom’s leading tour operators, dedicated to hotels that make their guests happiest.
The award recognizes three historic palaces located in the heart of the old town centers of three renowned art cities — properties that house true masterpieces within their walls, actively participate in local cultural life, and offer a style of hospitality that embodies the very best of Made in Italy: attention to detail, luxury, quality, outstanding service, and a genuine ability to connect with their guests. This significant achievement, involving as many as three hotels within the group, stands as a testament to the value of a team that, in every city where it operates, has successfully combined the ability to understand each guest’s needs and wishes with a strong international outlook.
