Mrs. Emilia and her companions
Mrs. Emilia and her companions: salonnières, heroines, milliners… Florence, capital of women. Dear girls, dear boys, dear parents, have you ever been invited to “make a salon”? Don’t miss this opportunity!!!
With a leap back in time—we are in 1866—Emilia Peruzzi, wife of the then mayor of Florence, welcomes you into her palace with the help of a rather eccentric butler. Amid amusing misunderstandings involving biscuits, bombs, and hats, you will meet not only Emilia but also some of her friends: truly extraordinary women who, through their example, sowed the seeds of equality and freedom.
The afternoon will take place in the historic Sala Parlamento, distinguished by its splendid frescoed ceiling. This space once served as a meeting place for members of Parliament and Senators of the Kingdom of Italy.
