A special evening hosted by Firenze Spettacolo to celebrate the book Cucinare Lontano – A Tavola con gli Altri: il Giro del Mondo in 360 ricette by Jean Michel Carasso and Luisa Ghetti. A refined dinner party featuring outstanding guests at La Chiostrina, set within the charming halls of a Florentine hotel.

The menu'

  1. MIXED APPETIZER
    Syrian muhammara (roasted pepper, walnut and pomegranate molasses dip)
    Tahini hummus (Middle Eastern spiced chickpea cream)
    Baba ganoush (Turkish smoked eggplant mousse)
    Russian-style chicken liver pâté with caraway
    Sephardic marbled egg

  2. ENTRÉE
    Tripoli-style cod croquettes with cinnamon, served with an “oriental confetti” salad

  3. FIRST COURSE
    Greek-style crêpe lasagnetta with spinach and feta cheese

  4. MAIN COURSE
    Fresh Australian mango chicken
    Iranian saffron pilaf rice

  5. DESSERT
    Set lemon cream topped with crushed pistachios, mint and strawberries
