The White Truffle... and Other Delicacies!

Autumn tastes of truffle! With its distinctive and unmistakable flavor, capable of enhancing every dish, the White Truffle will be the star of the dinner on December 6, 2018, at the Ristorante La Chiostrina. A perfect setting for an evening in which truffle takes center stage in a variety of recipes, each paired with wines carefully selected to enhance the characteristics of the dishes. The menu delights the senses and evokes the aromas of winter ingredients, featuring fresh cheeses, chestnuts, honey, and pumpkin.

The evening will begin in the charming Lounge Bar of the hotel, where a welcome flute of sparkling wine will be served, accompanied by a discreet and elegant piano background music.

Guests will be welcomed with a flute of sparkling wine in the elegant Lounge Bar, while piano notes gently fill the atmosphere all around them. Dinner will be served at Ristorante La Chiostrina, the hotel’s restaurant, located within a beautifully restored 16th-century portico. A perfect setting for an evening where truffle takes center stage in a variety of recipes, each paired with wines carefully selected to enhance the character of every dish. The menu stimulates the senses and recalls the aromas of winter ingredients, including fresh cheeses, chestnuts, honey, and pumpkin. 

As poet Jean Antoine Petit-Senn once observed, truffles and artistic geniuses share something in common: they can be discovered, but never imitated. Florence has historically been rich in both, as though the cultural background that gave birth to the Renaissance were reflected in a nature equally rich and generous.

    Honey vinaigrette with White Truffle, fresh pecorino cheese with black truffle, and winter fruits

  3. Handmade chestnut fagottini with White Truffle
    Cream of zolfini beans and pumpkin, with Pecorino dell’Amiata

  4. Beef tournedos with White Truffle reduction
    Baby spinach, celeriac, and “Traditional Balsamic Vinegar air”

  5. Soft chestnut honey cream with White Truffle

  6. €85 per person, including wine pairing by the glass.
