Treasures of the Hotel Bernini Palace
Lifestyle
Here we are, back at the Bernini Palace in Florence: after entering the hall, we walk up the grey sandstone stairs to the upper floors to admire the many furniture and design treasures that the palazzo holds in store. As manager David Foschi suggests, opening the doors of his “kingdom” to journalist Savina Confaloni in this short video, it’s like staying in a museum. Here every decorative element – from the Flemish armchairs to the fine fabrics, from the marbles to the Murano glass – has a story to tell and expresses a distinctive style. Plus, David Foschi goes on to explain, the choice of colours gives each ambience a personality of its own. An example? The warm tones – red, purple, orange, gold – of the Tuscan Floor, a veritable “hotel inside the hotel”.
