“Christmas is coming, the holiday that more than any other celebrates the pleasure of being together. This is why I wish to thank all our guests for the special moments we have shared.” Franco Vanetti, General Manager of the Duetorrihotels Group, invites readers of the blog to see out 2022 by thinking back to their favourite moments at the Bernini Palace in Florence. “We’ve come a long way together. For all of us, the year that is coming to an end has marked a return to proper social relations following the pandemic hiatus. We’ve now been able to recover regular rhythms and habits, offering a warm welcome to all those who have stayed with us, whether for a dinner or a holiday. 

 

Of all the special moments that stood out in 2022, I’d like to mention one in particular: the event organised in June with two symbols of Italian fashion, Doria 1905 and Emmanuel Schvili, on the eve of the Pitti Uomo fair. My memory is drinks on the garden terrace: it was May and the hats, clothes and accessories of the new collections looked as if they were blooming among the flowers. With this image as my inspiration, I wish you a 2023 of beauty, to be shared by all.”
